Prof. Eldar, a leading radar theory expert, is renowned for her groundbreaking research on sub-Nyquist sampling. As head of the Signal Acquisition Modeling and Processing Lab at the Weizmann Institute, she focuses on efficient signal extraction and processing, notably in radar technology. Eldar earned her B.Sc. in Physics and Electrical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University and her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. A member of the Israel Academy of Science and Humanities, and holds visiting positions at MIT and Princeton.
